Sign up for the Kids' Summerfest Program! Make a Splash-- READ! For every two hours of reading you record on this site, we will award you with a coupon(s) from area merchants for free eats and other treats. Prize coupons are awarded at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 hours. Once you've earned a prize, visit the library or a bookmobile to collect your coupon(s). Grab a book and dive right in! *All prizes subject to availability.

Kids who make it to the 12 hour level are entered into our Grand Prize drawing too-- a Family Pass to Gage Park and a Family Pass to World's of Fun. The prize drawing is July 28th at 2:00-- right before our last Blockbuster Wednesday of the season. *Grand Prize entries must be received by noon on July 28th.

If you are in elementary school, BONUS! You can help your school win a fabulous trophy. We give special recognition to the schools that have the highest percentage of students who make it to 12 hours or more. All you have to do is read! So do your part to help your school wash out the others.
