Tai Chi Chih is a series of 19 movements that promote health and well being by circulating and balancing the energy within each participant. Commonly observed benefits of regular practice include: reduced tension & stress, improved blood pressure, increased energy, flexibility, and creativity. Anyone, any age, can practice Tai Chi Chih. Sign up as a Summer Reader at the Children's Desk. A table will be available next to the library's Doll House where your child can check in, report on what books they have read, and receive a prize every week of the program! Summer Readers can come to a special Monday afternoon event from July 1 to August 13 every week, and the final program will include not only music from Tom Sieling, but reading rewards for each child who participated. Registration for the program continues through all of July. There will be food, ice cream and beverages available for sale at the concerts on Paper Mill Island. Bring your lawn chair or blanket & enjoy these Free Tuesday evening concerts! Plan BEE is made up of students from Baldwinsville's championship marching band. The pep band has performed at the N.Y. The Monterays celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2012, and they are still going strong under the direction of Dan Elliott, whose brother was a founding member.
