Women and Heart Disease: A Survivor's Story

Meet Leisha Doherty - she had her first heart attack at 40 and as a 44 year-old woman, she has survived 6 heart attacks, 2 open-heart surgeries and multiple cardiac setbacks. She is passionate about raising awareness about heart disease and saving lives! In participation with the American Heart Association's 2013 Go Red for Women Awareness campaign, NOPL is excited to host Leisha Doherty and hear her story.
